The Stone Cellar is situated beside the Suikerbosrand River near Heidelberg. Its combination of open farmland, established gardens, natural textures and thoughtfully designed wedding spaces provides a variety of settings for photography and videography.
The venue specialises in relaxed wedding experiences that allow couples and their guests to spend meaningful time together. Preparations, the ceremony, portraits and reception can all be captured within the same farm environment.
The Stone Cellar offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options.
The Chapel was transformed from the original milking parlour and provides a bright, character-filled setting for ceremonies. Large windows introduce natural light while helping us capture the couple, their guests and important ceremony moments clearly.
Couples preferring an outdoor ceremony can use the wooden Arbour overlooking the Suikerbosrand River Valley. The open sky, surrounding landscape and countryside views create a natural backdrop for the ceremony and wider establishing photographs.
The reception hall combines glass, wood and screed finishes above the original stone cellar. Together with the covered patio, bridal suite and surrounding farmland, these spaces create varied visual opportunities throughout the wedding day.

The Stone Cellar’s weekend-wedding format allows couples and their closest guests to spend additional time together at the venue.
Where required, photography and videography coverage can extend beyond the main wedding day to include a welcome gathering, Friday evening celebration or other planned weekend activities.
Additional coverage should be arranged in advance so that the appropriate crew, travel and accommodation requirements can be included in the wedding collection.
